Biography
Bekir Bülbül was born in Beyşehir in 1985. After completing his bachelor's degree in Technology Engineering at Sakarya University, he completed his master's degree in acting at Istanbul Haliç University.
In 2016, the documentary film Bulgur Mill, which he directed and produced, and the feature film My Short Words were invited to film festivals in more than thirty countries, including the 53rd Antalya Film Festival and the 37th Istanbul Film Festival, and won awards.
In 2019, the film Cloves&Carnations, which won the TRT 12 Punto Co-Production award and which he directed, had its world premiere at the Tokyo Film Festival in 2022
