Film Code Productions was founded in 2018 by Halil Kardaş.
A graduate of Yıldız Technical University, Halil Kardaş has been actively working in the industry as a producer since 2010 and successfully completed EAVE (European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs), one of Europe's leading production training programs, in 2022.
Film Code is a production company focusing on feature and short films and documentaries. It has also produced documentaries, television programs and commercials for national and international TV channels. The company is also working on series and film projects for digital platforms and has built a strong international business network by offering minority co-production and line production services to foreign producers who want to shoot in Turkey.
Film Code has won awards at national and international festivals for the projects it has produced and has successfully represented Turkey at the world's leading festivals. One of the company's latest productions, Bir Tutam Karanfil, had its world premiere at the 35th Tokyo Film Festival in 2022. The 2018 film Anons was awarded the Orizzonti Special Jury Prize at the 75th Venice Film Festival.
