Musa, a stubborn old refugee, wants to take his wife's body back to his country for burial. He takes his young granddaughter Halime with him and sets off on a difficult journey. But buses and trucks refuse to take these two refugees carrying coffins. Due to financial constraints, they have to continue their journey on foot. Due to the harsh weather conditions and drifts, the coffin starts to crack over time. Musa's old age and Halime's desperation make things even more difficult. This journey becomes a test of Musa's attachment to his past and his bond with Halime. Moreover, the border they must cross to reach their goal is still shadowed by conflict.
